Schulbiologisches Zentrum
Das Schulbiologisches Zentrum Dortmund ist gegliedert in die Grüne Schule und die Zooschule. Insbesondere die Grüne Schule bietet Exkursionen zu ökologischen Themen wie Leben im Boden, Frühblüher, aquatische und terrestrische Ökologie oder auch Vogelkunde an. Regelmäßig führen die Jahrgangsstufe 8 im Rahmen des bilingualen Biologieunterrichts Gewässer- und Bodenuntersuchungen, Biologiekurse der Sekundarstufe II insbesondere gewässer- und vegetationsökologische Untersuchungen durch.
The Schulbiologisches Zentrum Dortmund (Center of Biological Excursions for Schools) is divided into the Zoo School and the Green School, the latter of which offers biological school excursions on topics like Life in the Soil, Spring Geophytes, Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecology as well as Ornithology. Visiting SBZ students from our year 5 find out about the adaptions of early flowering plants. On a regular basis year 8 takes part in bilingual water and soil analyses while upper secondary students assess the quality of aquatic and terrestrial habitats.
